Net Entertainment arrives in Italy

Net Entertainment arrives in ItalySwedish online casino software developer Net Entertainment has finally landed in Italy. The Italians have been rather stubborn with their online gambling setup of late, with the Italian government considering closing down gambling for an entire year, in the country. It was a moved that rebuffed by the European Union, leaving the Italians having to think of a new plan.

Net Entertainment however, has broken through the barrier. The casino software developers announced this week that they will launch in Italy. Partnering themselves with Italian lottery and gaming company Lottomania, Net Ent is set to release a swarm of their online games in Italian online gaming domains within the very near future.

Both Lottmania and Totosi are two of the businesses already signed up to offer Net Entertainment games, primarily through their mobile casino and online casino offerings. The move comes at Net Entertainment put more and more effort into their mobile gaming platform.

At present, the majority of Net Entertainment’s newest titles will go live in the Mediterranean country shortly, whilst some of their older stock will be released if and when it is deemed appropriate. This move will see Net Entertainment rank alongside some of the other leading developers in the industry, who already have a foothold in the Italian market.

Speaking recently about their involvement in Italy, the managing director of Net Entertainment, Mr. Bjorn Krantz commented that both his company and Lottomania had been working hard together to come up with a way for the Italian gamers to reach the best possible games in the online gaming world.

It was only recently that Net Entertainment announced a huge growth in revenue, of some 25%, in their third quarter figures for this year. The growth is seen as a sign of changing times, following many new online casinos going live this year across the globe, carrying Net Entertainment software. The signing of many new deals for Net Entertainment has also been thought to have been behind the sudden growth.

Although thought by many as the third or fourth largest and most popular online casino software developer – after Microgaming and Playtech – Net Entertainment are certainly stamped their mark at the moment, something the new deal in Italy will only strengthen further.
