Eager and illegal beavers try to hi-jack the New Jersey Gambling show

New JerseyThere were certainly some eager beavers trying to play illegal games in the state of New Jersey this week! Reports have come in of a number of an unprecedented number of plays located in a total of 23 states across the USA, trying to access online casinos which have been launched in New Jersey, the very day of the launch.

New Jersey gambling legalization has been hard at work making certain that their online casinos are only available to players within the state, though that doesn’t stop thousands of players trying their hand, to see if they could play a few games illegally. Reports and stats from the payment method service and geo-location providers CAMS has said their services had prevented the multitude of players from gaining access to the gaming domains.

This week, New Jersey became only the third state in the United States to legalize online gambling in their domain, following Nevada and Delaware’s efforts earlier in the year. The new casinos can only be accessed by being inside the state’s boundaries, and have been launched for a couple of days new, after undergoing extensive testing before the final launch, yesterday on November 26.

The new geo-location technology has proved sufficient in keeping a number of gamers away from the online casinos, although it has also kept locals players out too. Many New Jersey gamers have already reported issues with a total of 14 out of 17 gambling domains, and in most cases it has come down as the geo-location software which has prevented them from playing.

New Jersey is expected to launch mobile casinos in the very near future, and so this is a rather worrying issue that needs a quick remedy, if mobile casino gaming is going to be a success. According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Entertainment, they commented that it was better than a few New Jersey gamers were locked out temporarily, than players from outside the state lines were allowed to play illegally.

California is thought to be launching their own online casinos in the immediate future, although it is rumored that they are waiting on the outcome of the New Jersey situation, to see how well it pans out. Similar moves in Delaware and Nevada have proved to be success, although in the case of the latter, that was always going to be obvious. Texas too could be in line for an online casino or two in the very near future.

For the time being though, if you live outside of New Jersey, you have been warned. Keep out, because it will do you no good to try and play there!
