Conduct Study On The Legalization of Online Gambling at Pennsylvania

In an exciting new move, the senate committee of Pennsylvania recently announced that they have approved a legislature study that will be conducted to determine whether or not online gambling at Pennsylvania should be legalized. It is said that the full vote will be conducted on Wednesday. This is an interesting move by the senate because it is one step closer to having the state follow in the footsteps of states such as Nevada and New Jersey who have already legalized online gambling. This doesn’t mean that the passing of a law that legalizes gambling is a sure thing; it is merely a sign that things might be changing.

About The Resolution

At this point in time, it is unclear which forms of online gambling will become legalized in the event that the resolution is passed and this includes online poker. If the resolution is passed, however, this means that the study’s results will be presented as early as May 2014. Furthermore, this also means that lawmakers will have the chance to introduce the changes that are caused by the resolution in the budget that will be outlined in July 2014.

Combating Pennsylvania’s Financial Woes

There are just as many casino entrepreneurs who are trying to get the idea of online gaming “tanked”, citing that they don’t believe it is moral, although many believe them to have ulterior motives.

It seems that the debate concerning the introduction of online gambling into the state of Pennsylvania will continue to rage, but this new study could end up shedding some light on the matter and provide information on the future of online gaming in this area of the United States.
