The Lost Secret of Atlantis slot is one of Rival Gaming’s finest 3D slot machine games. Although not as flash as some other 3D slots – this one does have only basic 3D icons after all – it is still quite a well-designed title, and fun to play. Lost Secret of Atlantis is played over 5 reels, with 25 paylines and a non-progressive jackpot of 30,000 coins up for grabs.

Game themes and features

It shouldn’t take too long to work out what this slot is all about. Of course, it is themed on the lost civilisation of Atlantis, which supposedly disappeared beneath the waves in early human history. This online slots is about the secrets and treasures that finding that city has to offer.

The wild icon is a treasure in its own right. This symbol comes in the form of a Great White shark and will expand to fill en entire reel when it is possible to form big wins. The wild can replace all other symbols in the game, and expanding wilds appear only on the first, second and third reels. Wins are multiplied by the number of expanding wilds on the screen, so the maximum is 3x the winnings. Wilds cannot replace scatter icons, however.

Despite its fancy wild icons and special features, the Lost Secret of Atlantis is pretty much like any other video slot on the market. It is played by placing stakes against the paylines the games offers, and by matching up similar symbols on the reels, the player will win cash prizes or special features.

Bonus rounds and free spins

Lost Secret of Atlantis contains a jackpot icon, which takes the shape of a ring. When the player lands this jackpot icon five times on a payline, they will win the top jackpot that the video slot has to offer.

There are two other types of special features in this slot. The free spins icon is a submersible. When it appears three or more times, anywhere on the reels, it will trigger a free spins round. In the free spins round, the player will receive 10 free spins (if they landed 3 scatters), 20 free spins (for four scatters) or 75 free spins (for 5 scatters). All wins in the free spins round have a 3x multiplier attached to them.

The bonus round is triggered by landing 3 or more (Atlantis creature) icons. The green skinned Atlanteans will offer 3 spheres, and the player must choose one to pick up an instant win prize.

Coins and betting range

Players can choose coin values that range from 0.01 up to 0.25 in this video slot. They can also wager up to 10 coins per payline, and all of the paylines are adjustable. This means that floor bets are limited to 0.01 per line, per spin. Ceiling bets on the other hand cost no more than 62.50 per spin.

Verdict

There are a number of Atlantis themed slots out there, but this one is pretty high ranked. It is enjoyable, offers another side to the story of the disappearance of Atlantis, and uses nice graphics to tell its story. All in all, most gamers (whether amateur or experienced), will be happy knocking about on this slot for a few hours at the least!
