Bovada and Bodog Preakness Stakes Odds Fresh from winning the Kentucky Derby, the first of the triple jewel championship, the American Pharoah will be looking to win the second of the triple jewels this Saturday, 16th May at the Preakness Stakes meet at the famed Pilmlico racetrack.

While there might have been an error in the spelling of his name, Pharaoh rather than the current Pharoah, his success has been meteoric in his 2 season long career. Already he had 3 grade one wins under his belt before the Churchill Downs on February with American Pharoah’s sole defeat coming in 2014 at the Del Mar track during his debut race.

Since then he has made it 5 first place finishes from his next 5 races that have also included the Rebel grade 2 race in November 2014. Among also his growing accolades includes the Eclipse Award for champion Juvenile Male, which he won despite missing the Breeder’s Cup with an Injury.

Having won the Kentucky derby this May with a one-length he will be aiming to replicate the victory against other contenders that include: stable mate Dortmund, Mr. Z, Danzig Moon, Tale of Verve, Bodhisattva, Firing Line and Divining Rod among others.
